The Buffalo Bandits will host Tucker Out Lymphoma Night this Friday, Jan. 19 when they host the New York Riptide at KeyBank Center.
The night will be held in memory of Tucker Williams, the son of former Bandits player Shawn Williams, who lost a courageous battle with Burkitt lymphoma in 2014. Shawn and Tucker’s mom, Tamara, will both be in attendance for the game.
Faceoff is set for 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now.
Both the Bandits and Riptide will wear special jerseys to commemorate the night. Bandits and Riptide game-worn jerseys and shorts, special Tucker Out Lymphoma Night Bandits nameplates, and both teams’ goal balls are now available to be bid on by fans at Bandits.com/auctions.
A “lacrosse ball surprise” in the pavilion will give fans the opportunity to purchase individually autographed lacrosse balls, with proceeds benefiting pediatric cancer care, while a limited number of Tucker Out Lymphoma Night jerseys and T-shirts will be available for purchase in the team store.
Fans can also pick up an “I Fight For…” sign as they enter the building to show their support of this special night and enter to win a signed jersey in our Signed Jersey Sweepstakes, presented by Seneca Resorts & Casinos. To enter the sweepstakes, click here.
