Buffalo Bandits General Manager Steve Dietrich today announced the team’s 21-man roster and practice player list for the 2021-22 National Lacrosse League season.
The 2021-22 roster will see the return of Bandits veterans such as Kevin Brownell, Steve Priolo and Dhane Smith, along with Josh Byrne, Chase Fraser and Matt Vinc.
First-year Bandits highlighting the roster are Western New York native Connor Fields and the No. 3 overall pick from the 2021 NLL Entry Draft, Tehoka Nanticoke.
Also making the team are Kyle Buchanan – who played the last two seasons in San Diego before signing with the Bandits in August 2020 – and Chris Cloutier – who the Bandits acquired from Philadelphia via trade in February 2019 and tallied 41 points in 10 games for Buffalo in 2019-20 before the season shut down.
The team assigned Tye Argent, Nolan Clayton, Sam La Roue and Dalton Sulver to the practice squad and placed Joel Matthews, Ian MacKay and Frank Brown on the physically unable to perform list. The Bandits also placed Nathaniel Kozevnikov on season-ending injured reserve.
