The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team has signed transition player Kevin Brownell to a one-year contract, pending league approval.
Brownell (6’0”, 180 lbs., 8/16/1988) recorded seven points (2+5) in 11 games during the 2019-20 season with the Bandits. He has played each of his eight career NLL seasons in Buffalo, totaling 103 points (34+69) in 118 regular-season contests and adding seven points (2+5) in nine career playoff games.
A native of Milgrove, Ontario, Brownell ranks in the top 10 in franchise history in games played (118) and loose-ball recoveries (547). Brownell played four years of collegiate lacrosse at Robert Morris University before being selected by Buffalo in the third round (22nd overall) of the 2012 NLL Entry Draft.
