The Buffalo Jr. Bandits announced rosters for their summer tournament teams today. The three teams, U13, U15, and U17, will compete in the prestigious Jr. NLL Tournament from August 26 to 28 in Oakville, Ontario. The Jr. NLL Tournament is back for its 8th year after a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We’re proud to welcome these players and their families to the Jr. Bandits organization this summer.” said Dan Ristine, coordinator of lacrosse operations for the Bandits. “We have some extremely skilled players from all over Western New York and Southern Ontario who will represent not only the Jr. Bandits, but the Buffalo Bandits, with pride while competing against some of the best talent in North America at the Jr. NLL Tournament, and hopefully get a little payback in the I-90 Cup.”
In addition to the Jr. NLL Tournament, players will compete in the second I-90 Cup Rivalry Series, which was originally hoisted by the Rochester Jr. Knighthawks in 2019. With the addition of Albany to the National Lacrosse League, we look forward to welcoming the Jr. FireWolves to the tournament.
