Nanticoke signs 3-year deal
The Bandits signed forward Tehoka Nanticoke to a three-year contract, pending league approval.
Nanticoke (6’1”, 230 lbs., 1/18/1998) has compiled 166 points (98+68) in 63 games for the Bandits over the last four seasons since being selected in the first round (3rd overall) of the 2021 NLL Entry Draft. A member of Buffalo’s back-to-back-to-back NLL Championship teams, Nanticoke has compiled 62 points (29+33) in 23 career playoff contests.

Bandits sign Wyers to 1-year contract
The Bandits signed defenseman Cam Wyers to a one-year contract, pending league approval. Wyers (6’5”, 220 lbs., 9/14/1999) will return for his third season in Buffalo after posting nine points (2+7) and a career-high 81 loose-ball recoveries in 16 games in 2024-25 season for the Bandits. The Ottawa, Ontario native has totaled 14 points (2+17) in 34 career games with Buffalo.

Bandits sign Matisz to 1-year contract
The Bandits signed transition player Kiel Matisz to a one-year contract, pending league approval. Matisz (6’5”, 215 lbs., 8/8/1989) will return for his second season in Buffalo after posting eight points (1+7) and 54 loose-ball recoveries in seven games in his 2024-25 debut season for the Bandits. The Stoney Creek, Ontario native appeared in three playoff games for the Bandits, recording four assists and 12 loose-ball recoveries while contributing to the team’s 2024-25 championship win – winning his second career championship.

Benesch returns to Buffalo
The Bandits signed forward Ryan Benesch to a one-year contract, pending league approval.
Benesch (5’9”, 180 lbs., 1/30/1985) re-joins the Bandits after playing four years in Buffalo from 2014 to 2017. During his time in Buffalo, Benesch led the team in scoring for two seasons (2014 and 2015) and compiled 351 points (152+199) in 67 games, which ranks him sixth in franchise history in goals, assists and points.
During his 18-year NLL career, Benesch has played in 289 career regular-season games and 21 playoff contests. He ranks among the NLL’s career leaders in games played (4th, 289), goals (4th, 580), assists (8th, 785) and points (5th, 1,365).
October 27
Bandits sign 4 players to 1-year contracts
The Bandits signed forwards Clay Scanlan and Mike Triolo, transition player Ron John, and defenseman Matt Spanger to one-year contracts, pending league approval. An eight-year NLL veteran, Spanger (6’4”, 207 lbs., 11/27/1992) joined the Bandits prior to the 2018-19 season and has compiled 46 points (14+32) and 363 loose-ball recoveries in 93 career games. Triolo (6’8”, 225 lbs., 6/27/1991) was drafted by the Bandits in the third round (27th overall) of the 2015 NLL Entry Draft and has compiled 97 points (43+54) and 146 loose-ball recoveries in 46 career games.
Scanlan (5’10”, 175 lbs., 9/22/2001) returns for his second season in Buffalo after recording 16 points (9+7) and 25 loose-ball recoveries in 11 games during his 2024–25 rookie campaign. John (6’0”, 200 lbs., 4/17/1998) will return for his second season in Buffalo after recording two assists and 16 loose-ball recoveries in five games in his 2024-25 debut season for the Bandits. John (Angola) and Scanlan (Irving) are both from Western New York.

Bandits acquire Triolo from Saskatchewan
Buffalo acquired forward Mike Triolo from the Saskatchewan Rush in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2027 NLL Entry Draft, pending league approval. Triolo (6’8”, 225 lbs., 6/27/1991) was drafted by the Bandits in the third round (27th overall) of the 2015 NLL Entry Draft and has compiled 97 points (43+54) and 146 loose-ball recoveries in 46 career games.
Bandits sign Weiss to 1-year contract
The Bandits signed transition player Nick Weiss to a one-year contract, pending league approval. Weiss (6’2”, 212 lbs., 8/16/1992) will return for his 11th season in Buffalo after posting 26 points (7+19) and a career-high 138 loose-ball recoveries in 18 games during the 2024-25 season for the Bandits. The Port Hope, Ontario native currently ranks seventh in franchise history in games played (147) and loose-ball recoveries (878), second in caused turnovers (158), and third in blocked shots (52).

Bandits sign Nielsen, Dawson to 1-year contracts
The Bandits signed forward Lukas Nielsen and defenseman Paul Dawson to one-year contracts, pending league approval. Dawson (6’5”, 237 lbs., 9/16/1985) currently ranks first all-time in career shots blocked in NLL history (105) and second in franchise history (66). Nielsen (6’0”, 180 lbs., 12/21/2004) returns for his second season in Buffalo after recording two points (1+1) and five loose-ball recoveries in two games during his rookie campaign in 2024–25.
Bandits sign 2 players to 3-year contracts
The Bandits signed forward Coltrane Tyson and goaltender Waukiigan Shognosh to three-year contracts, pending league approval. Shognosh was selected in the first round (14th overall) and Tyson was taken in the second round (21st overall) of the 2025 NLL Entry Draft. Shognosh was named the Ontario Junior Lacross League Goaltender of the Year in 2025 after posting a 15-8 record for the Peterborough Lakers.
Bandits sign Dooley, Orleman to 1-year deals
The Bandits signed defenseman Taylor Dooley and goaltender Steve Orleman to one-year contracts, pending league approval. Dooley (6’0”, 185 lbs., 12/23/2001) returns for his second season in Buffalo after recording one assist and seven loose-ball recoveries in four games during his rookie campaign in 2024-25. Orleman (6’1”, 185 lbs., 5/7/1999) returns for his third season in Buffalo after being active for all 18 games in 2024–25 and appearing in three of those games.
Buchanan signs 1-year deal
The Bandits signed forward Kyle Buchanan to a one-year contract, pending league approval. Buchanan (5’8”, 165 lbs., 10/22/1987) will return for his fifth season in Buffalo and currently ranks 10th in franchise postseason history in goals (25), sixth in assists (40), and is tied for sixth in career points with Buffalo (65). Buchanan was also the recipient of the NLL Sportsmanship Award for the 2024–25 season.

Robinson signs 2-year contract
The Bandits signed defenseman Dylan Robinson to a one-year contract, pending league approval. Robinson (6’2”, 180 lbs., 7/1/2002) will return for his fourth season in Buffalo after posting a career-high 11 points (3+8) and 58 loose-ball recoveries in 11 games in the 2024-25 season for the Bandits.
Bandits sign Farrell to 2-year contract
Buffalo signed transition player Connor Farrell to a two-year contract, pending league approval. Farrell (6’2”, 240 lbs., 3/25/1997) will return for his third season in Buffalo after he posted four points (1+3), a career-high 129 loose-ball recoveries, and went 269-236 (53%) on faceoffs in 18 games in 2024-25 season for the Bandits.
Bandits sign Belter to 2-year contract
The Bandits signed defenseman Zack Belter to a two-year contract, pending league approval. Belter (6’5”, 225 lbs., 3/3/2000) will return for his third season in Buffalo after recording two assists and 15 loose-ball recoveries in 14 games in 2024-25 season for the Bandits. Belter was selected by Buffalo in the first round (19th overall) of the 2022 NLL Entry Draft.
Bandits sign 7 players to 3-year deals
The Bandits signed forwards David Burr, Carter Coffey, Jaden Kennedy and Liam Keane, defensemen Matthew Duncan and Liam Linden, and goaltender Evan Constantopoulos, to three-year contracts, pending league approval. Coffey (3rd round, 39th overall), Kennedy (4th round, 61st overall), Burr (5th round, 74th overall) and Keane (5th round, 75th overall) were all members of Buffalo’s 2025 NLL Entry Draft class.
