The Jr. Bandits had three teams participating in the Jr. NLL Tournament in Oakville, Ont. this past weekend. Here are the results.

Pee Wee

The Pee Wee Bandits finished second in their division and made it to the semifinal round, where they fell to the eventual champion Black Wolves. The Pee Wees have now finished fourth in the tournament in back-to-back years.

Cooper Drennan led the team with nine goals and 13 points, the latter of which ranked 10th in the division. Taydan Williams and Chuckie Rebmann tied for the team lead with eight assists each. The Pee Wee team was coached by Ethan O’Connor, Ian MacKay and Chris Cloutier.

Bantam

The Bantam Bandits started the tournament 0-2, then won their final three games by a convincing 36-10 margin. Noah Snyder paced the team in goals (nine) and assists (seven) to finish with 16 points, which ranked eighth in the division. The Bantams were coached by Dhane Smith and Justin Martin.

Midgets

The Midgets went winless in four closely contested contests, three of which were decided by two goals or less. Braley Abrams led the team with eight points. The Midget team was coached by Ethan O’Connor, Ian MacKay and Josh Byrne.

Dylan Nicometi became the second Jr. Bandit to play for the program in all six years. He joins Michael Minich, who aged out after the 2018 tournament. Nicometi finished with 15 points over 30 games after starting with the 2014 Pee Wee team.
