AUCTION OF GAME-WORN JERSEYS WILL SUPPORT CANCER RESEARCH
Buffalo Bandits Director of Lacrosse Operations Scott Loffler today announced that the team will support the fight against cancer by wearing special pink jerseys during their nationally-televised April 7 home game against the Philadelphia Wings at 7:30 p.m. at First Niagara Center.
The game-worn authentic pink jerseys will be auctioned off on Bandits.com, with the auction beginning on Monday, April 9 at 5 p.m. and ending on Sunday, April 15, with bidding for the first jersey closing at 7 p.m. Each subsequent jersey’s auction will end every five minutes after that. Auction winners will be given the option to have the jersey signed for free by the player who wore it. Proceeds will benefit cancer research initiatives.
In addition, pink replica jerseys will be available for purchase in the team store.
Saturday’s Bandits game against the Wings also marks the first NLL game and first professional team sporting event ever broadcast on CBS Sports Network, which will air four consecutive Saturday night games, including Buffalo’s April 21 regular season home finale against the Rochester Knighthawks.
During the playoffs, CBS Sports Network will broadcast four more games, including one Divisional Semifinal Game, both Divisional Finals and the 2012 NLL Championship Game. All games will be aired in both standard and high definition.
Tickets for both remaining Bandits home games on April 7 and April 21 are still available and start at just $25. For more ticket information, please visit the First Niagara Center box office, call 1-888-467-2273 or click here.
