Alright, this is how the week broke down:  I sprained my MCL, got a bad tissue infection and a wicked case of diarrhea.   O.K... the last part I made up!!

You want some more good news?  My wife looks like the Nutty Professor right now as she is seven-and-a-half months pregnant and hot as can be! On the flip side of things, we beat Toronto in overtime on Saturday night, as you all know, which makes all those bad things feel better.

I had to miss out on practice last week due to the reasons I stated above, but I enjoyed watching the boys run around sweating.  Except Clancy - I don’t even know if he can run yet.

So we played Toronto on Saturday night at our Home Opener in Buffalo.  It felt great to play at home again… it’s been a while!  The game went pretty well, although I think we gave up one too many goals.  We’ll have to clean that up when we go to Toronto this weekend for a rematch.  It was a beautiful sight seeing all the black and orange out in full effect.  Daisies and Muffins for Everyone.

Looking forward to playing in front of our fans again in a few weeks when we face Minnesota at HSBC Arena!
