The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team has signed transition player Nick Weiss and 2017 NLL Draft picks Dallas Bridle, Mackenzie Mitchell and Braden Wallace each to one-year contracts, pending league approval.
Weiss (6’2”, 207 lbs., 5/16/92) will enter his fourth season with the Bandits after joining the team before the 2015 season. The Port Hope, Ontario native has played in 36 games with Buffalo, scoring 31 points (16+15) and picking up 211 loose balls.
Bridle (6’2”, 190 lbs., 3/27/95) was selected by the Bandits in the third round (33rd overall) of the 2017 NLL Draft. The Orangeville, Ontario native finished fourth on the team with 25 points (20+5) in 15 games during his junior year at High Point University in 2016 before missing the majority of his senior season due to injury.
Mitchell (6’4”, 205 lbs., 8/19/96) was selected 34th overall by the Bandits in the draft. The Orangeville, Ontario native was a transition player for the Orangeville Northmen and played in 100 career games for the junior club, recording 34 points (7+27).
Wallace (6’0”, 170 lbs., 1/2/94) was Buffalo’s final pick of the draft and a former midfielder at RIT. The Oakville, Ontario native played in 23 games during his final year, posting career highs in points (52), goals (34) and assists (18).
